The third largest city in Vietnam, Da Nang is located in close proximity to Hue, 120km to the North and Hoi An, 30km to the south, which makes it a perfect stopover a day or two for you off the tourist trail. It is dubbed by many Vietnamese as the most worth-living city in the country with well-organized urban area, attractive beach front villas on one side and the Han River flowing on the other. Though it does not boast the ancient beauty like Hanoi or the bustling nightlife and striking French colonial architecture like Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang has its own charm. Of a few conventional sightseeing spots, the Cham Museum stands out with a rich collection of Cham sculptures. For those interested in outdoors activities, My Khe beach or the Marble Mountains or Ba Na Hill are really good choices.
